  • Go Execute by developing a full Go-to-Market process that refines and tests ideas for success in the market. 

Our Team

Heart-Data was founded by Vanessa Oshima who has 30+ years in the insights, strategy, branding and marketing industry with experiences across multiple industries and countries. Our General Manager Emily Huang has been in the insights, branding and marketing industry for 10+ years. Having worked at both the client and agency side, Emily has a solid foundation of market research and cross-functional teamwork.

We believe that at the heart of success is getting the A-team in place. When we play soccer we need soccer players, baseball needs baseball players and a triathlon is about three skills not just running. This is the foundation of the Heart-Data way of working. Our teams have a strength in brand development and growth, with particular expertise and knowledge in building brand strategy and brand planning. The expertise in knowing how to pull together YOUR right team, and then to unlock and action the insight from the Data and the Qualitative conversations and insights.

Every Heart-Data team that works on your project is made up of a collection of experts that have one goal - to “move forward” towards results for your company. We have our D-I-G toolbox, but are bespoke in how we apply it. We embrace the task of taking brands and ideas into their best future. And yes, sometimes that can mean sunsetting a brand or plan.
